Backpacking Mode

Salam and hello dearies!

Ahhh... I seriously need a short vacation right now. Ever since I came back from UK for good last 2010, I've never had a vacation overseas at all. Yes! Almost 5 years. Huuuu... it's so sad. If I could just pack my bag and leave for a vacay, that'll be great. Unfortunately, I have many responsibilities and I can't just leave whenever I want. I'm so jealous at people who have the freedom to travel whenever they want. Huhuhu...

My dream is to travel around the world. As a single lady, I think this is the right time to travel and enjoying my life. It's not like married ladies can't go travelling. It's just the responsibilities as a married lady may make travelling seems like a burden, not excitement. Well, not all may feel the same way but still, it'll be more enjoyable to travel when you're single. Unless you children are all grown up then that'll be okay. Hehehe...

There are many places that I hope one day I'll visit. On top of my list is Korea, Japan and UK again. Of course Mecca is the first place that I want to visit because it's the most beautiful place in the world. Huhuhu. I love to learn other cultures and lifestyle. Because I think learning other cultures is helping people to achieve peace and toleration (I will be a good UN ambassador... hehehe).

Insya Allah, I will work until I can achieve my dreams. I think the key of happiness is to enjoy my life. I don't want to stress my brain and feeling with my work, studies and what other think of me. I just need to focus on myself. It's not self-centred but independent. Okay, here are some of my photos when I was in UK. I really miss those moments. I can't tell you how much I miss it. Huhuhu...

A Birthday Present for Me

Salam and hello dearies!

As a birthday present to myself and something to console me after two tragedies that happened to me last month, I bought a new Fossil watch!!!! I've been aiming to buy this watch ever since I saw my friend wore it for the first time. It's quite big but the straps are quite thin. Whatever, I really like it.

My friend bought it from a Fossil boutique in Sunway Pyramid. It costed her about RM600++. Wow! It's quite expensive. However, I know where can I find the same watch for a lesser price. Hehehe. Of course from the Internet!

So last few days I saw this seller made a discount for this watch. I immediately whatsapped her and booked the watch. It was a good bargain. I bought it for RM385 only! Yes, almost half of the price that my friend paid from the boutique. I know, people may think is it really authentic? Yes of course because the seller bought it directly from the US. That's why she can sell it for a cheaper price.

How does it look like? Here are the photos.

The tin casing

 Tadaaa...

 I looovvveeee the colour

 Close up...

I bought it because I love the colour. I hope the bright orange colour may brighten my dull days. Hehehe... I love my new watch. Isn't it worth my money?

p/s ~ If you wanna know the seller, you can comment on this post.

My Eid Celebration

Salam and hello dearies!

For this year's Eid celebration, my family and I didn't really celebrate it like last year because we were still mourning our Wan Jam's passing away. We just celebrated it with our closest family. So here is my Eid celebration.

At 11 am my family and I went to my Grandma's (my mum's side) house in Bangi. It's quite a pleasant that my Grandma's house is in town, not village because we will not be stuck in traffic on our way to my Grandma's house. As usual, we ate, chit-chatting with my other relatives, cousins, aunts and so on. Not to forget, had tons of selfies. Hehehe...

Then we continued with our ritual, bersalam and ask for forgiveness from the oldies. We started with my family because my mum is the oldest sibling. Hehehe.. Then we took another tons of photos, family photos and so on.

After we finished our ritual, we headed to Kg. Baru to visit my nenek saudara. Before we went there, we went to visit our relatives' graves in Ampang. Most of my relatives, including my late young brother and Wan Jam were buried there. Their graves are also close to one another. I held my tears so bad because I didn't want to show my soft side to others.

Then we headed to Kg Baru. It was quite sombre this year because there were two of them left. Though they were still mourning, they still entertained us as their guests. Huhuhu... after we ate and had so much time together, my family and I headed back home.

That's all for my Eid celebration. I don't really visit my non-close relatives. Huhuhu. I only celebrate Eid on the first day only. Unlike others who celebrate Eid for a week. Really??? Ain't nobody got time for that. Hehehe...

So here are some photos of me and my family.

This is my signature pose (with my mouth open)

p/s ~ I don't put my parents' photos here because it's important for me to keep their privacy, unlike we teenagers with social media around us.

Mild Heart Attact

Salam and hello dearies!

As you all probably know, I'm currently pursuing my master's degree. Right now I wanna apply for scholarship because well, I want to do my master full time. I feel like a burden to do it part time. Not that I can't do it, but I think I can perform better if I do it full time. Huhuhu...

In order to apply this scholarship, I need to have a copy of my degree certificate and transcript. I was looking for my cert and transcript all over my room but I couldn't find it. I started to panic. I was so afraid that I might lost my cert.

I went to my workplace and searched everywhere but I still couldn't find it. I couldn't remember when was the last time I see my cert. I remembered that I wanna laminate my cert but I didn't. I couldn't concentrate on my work because of this. I was so frustrated because you know, I worked my ass off in order to get this cert. I busted almost 6 years and stayed up most of my nights for that piece of paper. I started to cry.

I told my parents about this. They asked me to check again. My mum said maybe it was in one of the boxes in the garage. Right after my accident, I had to put my stuffs from my car in the garage. I wasn't sure whether my cert was in the boxes. I looked for it briefly before I went to pay the bills. I was sweating and I stopped. I almost give up.

I then look for it in my room again. This time I dug my drawers, book shelves, files, bags and I still couldn't find it. Then my dad called me and asked my opinion about something. I wasn't able to concentrate on his questions and I told him that I still couldn't find my cert. So I decided to search my boxes again.

This time I flipped through every paper and folder. FINALLY, I found my cert and transcript. Turns out, my cert was in a folder and it was in my UKM bag. Then I remembered that I received this bag during my registration last year where I put my certs and offer letter in the it! OMG, my cert was in my car and garage for almost 9 months (7 in my trunk and 2 in my garage) unknowingly. Thank goodness that I found it, and I also relieved that although my cert was in the garage for almost 2 months, it was still in a good condition.

This paper controls my future...

Alhamdulillah. After a few days searching for it I finally found it. I couldn't express my relief after I found it. Only Allah knows my worries. Fuhh... Now I can apply my scholarship. Please do pray that I can get this scholarship. I really need it. Huhuhu...

Free Movie Pass!!!

Salam and hello dearies!

Do you remember that I once mentioned in my previous post (Ramadhan Day 1) something that has to do with Ben and Hafiz from Fly FM? Okay, so here's the story.

I was running late to work few weeks ago. Usually I go to work at 7.15 am and arrive right after the The End segment. But since I was late, the deejays already started their morning topic. The topic on that day was about World Spending Day (if I'm not mistaken). So, Ben asked the listeners what is the value of 174 trillion Zimbabwe dollar. I'd once read about the Zimbabwe dollar on 9gag so I was pretty confident that I can guess the value correctly.

Here's the Zimbabwe note

So they asked the listeners to call them and guess the value. Whoever gets the closest value will win free passes to watch Dark Place, starring Charlize Theron. I was so confident with my answer so I dialled their number while driving. Hehehe. I wasn't really expecting to go through the call but I DID it! Once again! OMG!!!

So I gave my answer which was a burger (worth RM15). The other caller guessed a pair of shoes (worth RM200). I was really confident that I get the correct answer. Turns out I was right! Woohoo!!! I FINALLY won something. I was so excited. Although I just won movie passes but it's something. Hehehe...

I was waiting for the passes to arrive first before I write this post. Hehehe. I finally received it last Saturday *wink**wink*

 The letter

The movie passed...

OMG, I really love Fly FM. Seriously, it's the BEST English radio station in Malaysia so far. I used to like Hitz FM but since they like to talk about football in the morning almost every day (yawn!), so I switched my channel. At least Fly FM talks about something funny in the morning (it usually help me to set up my mood).

Whatever it is, I will keep on calling them for more interesting games or competitions. Hihihi...

p/s ~ I still haven't use the passes yet. It's Ramadhan (T_T)
pp/s ~ I tried to put the movie trailer here twice but it didn't come out (waaaa...............)

I'm Free!!!

Salam and hello dearies!

Alhamdulillah... I'm finally FREE!!! Free from my assignments. Now I can relax and enjoy my semester holiday. OMG, I just can't believe that I have finished my second sem. It's been a year already. Fuhhh... hopefully I can get the best result. Hehehe...

Hmm now that I have a lot of free time, I don't know what to do. Maybe I can post something interesting on my blog. Or maybe I can just lay around watching favourite movies and tv series. Hehehe... Whatever it is, I wanna enjoy my free time to the fullest (before I start my next sem). Huhuhu...

p/s ~ please pray for my success. I'm quite worried about my last sem papers. Huhuhu...

Ben & Hafiz: The End

Salam and hello dearies!

I wanna share my experience calling the Fly FM morning crews, Ben and Hafiz. Every morning, I will tune to Fly FM while I drive to work. So there is this morning game calls The End - where they will give a snip of the end of a song. So the listeners need to guess the title of the song and the artist.

benhafiz

Usually I was not really trying to call because I've tried to call them and I never reached them. So once day, the gave the clues since it had been 4 weeks but no one guessed the song correctly. The clues at that moment was it does not have a featured artist, it's a love... love song and there is a letter 'o' in the singer's/band's name. At that point I heard Ben said 'the same direction'. So, I thought I got the artist already. I just need the song. Hehehe...

At night, I listened to all One Direction's love songs. Well, I thought 1D is the answer because it has the letter 'o' and has not featured artists. I was so confident that I can win the RM1350 at that moment. I listened to the songs and I finally chose a song. I was so confident at that time.

The next morning, I put my phone ready with the station's number and ready to call them. Right after I heard the cue to call, I immediately pushed the call button. At first the line was busy. I tried again and I heard the calling tone. I was so nervous but ready. Can you imagine me driving while holding my phone to answer the contest. Hahaha...

The suddenly, I heard Ben's voice. OMG! I finally did it. I managed to call them. Yahooo!!! I was so excited and couldn't wait to give my answer. So, they played the clip, though I wasn't really listening. When they asked what's the answer, I said " Story of My Life by One Direction" confidently. Then they played the clip and... well, it wasn't the end. Huaaaa!!!!

Though I didn't guess the correct song, I was so excited that when I arrived to my workplace with a big smile on my face. I was excited because I managed to call them. It was big actually because I had been trying to call a radio station (for other contests too) but couldn't go through. Hehehe.

Oh, I used to win an SMS contest from ERA FM in 2008, the fastest SMSer to SMS the pass code to win 4 movie tickets. I won 4 tickets to watch Iron Man 1 at Cineleisure Damansara. Unfortunately, I arrived 5 minutes late and the person who supposed to give the tickets just went back. I was so disappointed that I still haven't watch any Iron Man movies until now. Huhuhu...

So, today after almost 7 weeks, this one caller managed to guess the correct song and artist. The song was Nobody by Wonder Girls. OMG!!! Really! I'd never thought this song will be the answer. Arghhh!!!! She won RM2200. So sad. (T_T)... Whatever it is, I will try to win another The End contest. Tomorrow is the new The End. Hehehe.

A Tragedy, An Experience

Salam and hello dearies

Hi readers. OMG! It's been 3 months since my last post. Yes. As usual, I am a very busy person *winks*. Hehehe. My masters class has started last month and I'm in the mid term semester break. Fuhhh... But, next week I have my mid term test for my paper, Research Methodology 2. It's all about statistics!. The last time I learn about statistics during my final year of my degree. I'm so nervous because I may not have time to study. Plus I have an assignment to be submitted next week too. Huarggghhh!!!

Okay. I want to share a story about a tragedy that I may not forget for the rest of my life. I think it will haunt me for the rest of my life. It happened last month, on 27th March, 2015. I was on my way to UKM for my class. I was travelling with my sister. I was quite late at that time. My class supposed to start at 3 pm. I was driving quite fast, 140 km/h. On the PLUS highway, there were many road constructions that required us to switch lanes from 4 to 2.

I was driving when I noticed the signboard saying that 2 lanes will be closed. I started to slow down my car. At the time I was driving at 100 km/h. Then about 100 meter ahead, I saw this KLIA taxi in front of me started to hit the break. So, I pushed my break and I managed to stop about few inches from the taxi. My sister and I were so relieved because we didn't hit the taxi.

So, when I was about to press the pedal, suddenly I heard a crashing sound behind my back, with a slight jerk. I was so shocked and after a split second, another jerk to my car. OMG!!! I was hit by two cars!!! I was terrified, but I pull all of my strength and came out of my car. The car that hit my car was a Myvi and another car that hit that Myvi was a Wira. Gosh, I was so sad to see my car.

(T_T)

From the side view

Then a PLUS patrol came and asked me to drive to the closed lanes. He then interviewed me, asking me what happen. I just explained to the patrol about the taxi. Then the Myvi and Waja driver came to me and asked me why did I stop the car. I was so baffled to hear their questions. As if they were blaming me for the accident. I just explained to them with my controlled voice so that I will not sound guilty.

Since my car was not that bad, the patrol officer asked me to drive to the Nilai Police Station to file a report. I took the photos, then drove slowly, really slow about 20km/h just to ensure that my car will not fall off on my way to the police station. I was quite lucky that my car didn't need towing. The other cars definitely needed towing.

The Wira

I wasn't really familiar with the town that it took me about 30 minutes to find the station. There, the officer was like **** and asked me to go and photocopy my IC. Come on dude, can't you see that my car is wrecking like hell. I started to get annoyed with the situation. Luckily he wasn't the one who take my report. Thank God.

After I filed my report, then I went back. But I didn't want to use the highway because of the fast cars and lorries, so I just used the town road to my home. Then once again we lost because we missed the junction. It was the worst day that I've had so far this year. Finally I arrived home at 8 pm.

When we arrived, I told my dad about the incident. He was calmed when he heard the story. He just asked me why I didn't call him. Well, my phone was barred. Yes! On the same day.

The moral of the story, if you had an accident, don't panic. Keep calm and Insya Allah everything will run smoothly. The most important thing is to call your parents, husband, wife etc. I was lucky because my car didn't need to tow.

The Final Exam...

Salam and hello dearies!

I just finished my exam yesterday. Yahoo!!! I felt so relieved. I was happy because I managed to answer all of the questions. Though I'm not sure whether my answers are correct or not, as long as I can answer them, it still fine with me. It's not like I don't care about my exam. It's just I'm not a big fan of EXAM. I mentioned before that I prefer to do assignments. Hehehe...

Although I have finished my exam, I still have assignments to finish before my I can relax during this semester holiday. Then I can totally enjoying my holiday (not really, I still have to go to work). Before I end my ramble, here is a photo of my exam paper. Hehehe...

Wish Me Luck for My Exam Tomorrow...

Salam and hello dearies!

Tomorrow is my final exam for this semester. At this point I already feel nervous about it. I really don't like exam. I prefer do the assignments than taking an exam. Plus this is a statistics paper. I'm a language person, not Maths. Numbers and equations are not my best friend. Hmm... whatever it is, I have to suck it up and deal with it. I chose to further my study, so I'm going to finish it with flying colours. I will do my BEST! Insya Allah. Wish me luck, okay!

I'm going to master this subject... hehehe...

P/s ~ The nervousness is killing me... Hehehe...

My New Cat, Oppo Cat

Salam and hello dearies!

A few months back, my parents and sister went for a jog at a lake. After they finished jogging, right before they went back home, they found a kitten near the bridge. The kitten was dying, maybe because lack of food. They were looking for her mother or any other kittens but they found none. My dad doesn't like us to have a pet at home so the last time we had pet when I was very young (we had rabbits) and my sister's tortoises. But, after seeing her almost to die, my dad picked her and carry her home.

I didn't know about the kitten because I was working at that time. Just after I arrived, I saw this kitten lying under the chiku tree. She was so small and weak. Then my mum and sister toll me the story about where they found the kitten. We were quite excited that my dad allows us to have her. Hihihi... For days we were thinking about what we should call her. At that time my sister just bought a new phone, Oppo. So, I suggested to call her Oppo. My mum likes the name so much and my sister agreed. So, we call her Oppo.

Though she's not a siamese or persian or any other expensive looking cat, she is still the cutest to me. At first she was quite shy and very weak. Maybe because she is not used to her new environment. Now, she is the naughtiest cat ever. She runs everywhere, sleep everywhere and she once peed on my bed! I was so angry at the time, I didn't pet her. Whatever it is, I still love her. She's lovely and cheeky too. Now, I let her sleep in my room every night. Hehehe...

She was trying to eat

Still small and cute

Her favourite spot to sleep

Another favourite spot before she knocked the vase on the table

"You're doing assignment? Let me wait for you..."

"Nah, never mind. I'm sleepy..."

"You wanna selfie??? Nah... I don't!"

Sleeping again...

Whatever it is, I really love you Oppo. I hope you live longer and stay cheeky as always.

Planning for My Korea Trip

Salam and hello dearies!

OMG! It's been awhile since my last post. Regardless, I'm trying to release my stress right now. I have an assignment and an exam this coming Saturday. So... my head is dizzy right now. That's why I want to talk about something fun, like my future trip to KOREA!!! Yeay!

My friend, Azlin and I were planning this trip last week while we were cramping doing our assignments. Hahaha... Why I choose Korea? First because I USED to like K-Pop. Yes, used to, not anymore. But the main reason is because I like the place so much. The sceneries, cultures (traditional and modern), architectures and of cuz, the food. Hehehe...

We browsed some interesting locations and places that we should and Insya Allah will visit next year. The one that attract my interest the most is Everland. OMG, when I saw the pictures, I was breathless. I can't wait for this plan to come true. When I look at the roller-coaster, I can imagine myself shouting and screaming like crazy. I think it's better than Thorpe Park in London (sorry Thorpe Park!). Here are some of the pictures of the roller-coaster (courtesy of Yahoo Images)

 Breath taking (not literally!)

Can you hold your breath and scream? I don't think so...

Hold your pants dearies, I'm not finish yet. I also want to visit the palaces where their emperors used to live there. Why? Well maybe it's because of the story Rooftop Prince. Hehehe... I actually like their traditional costumes, Handbok. very demure and modest. I wanna wear it there (so I need to lose weight more... hehehe).

OMG, there are so many interesting places that I wish to see and visit and I wish I can write it here. But, since I'm super busy, I think I will write about it later. Or maybe after I visited those places (Insya Allah).

Oh before I forget, I want to offer anyone who is interested to join our trip (max 6 people), feel free to contact me. We will be backpacking around Korea (which I really love to do). I used to backpack around UK, Ireland and Turkey. However, the most important thing is you must be single and ladies. Hihihi. It will be difficult to have children during backpacking. Maybe not to you but yes it will be difficult for me. Hehehe... Feel free to drop your comment or contact me. I will discuss the itinerary to you later.
