Salam and hello dearies
Hi readers. OMG! It's been 3 months since my last post. Yes. As usual, I am a very busy person *winks*. Hehehe. My masters class has started last month and I'm in the mid term semester break. Fuhhh... But, next week I have my mid term test for my paper, Research Methodology 2. It's all about statistics!. The last time I learn about statistics during my final year of my degree. I'm so nervous because I may not have time to study. Plus I have an assignment to be submitted next week too. Huarggghhh!!!
Okay. I want to share a story about a tragedy that I may not forget for the rest of my life. I think it will haunt me for the rest of my life. It happened last month, on 27th March, 2015. I was on my way to UKM for my class. I was travelling with my sister. I was quite late at that time. My class supposed to start at 3 pm. I was driving quite fast, 140 km/h. On the PLUS highway, there were many road constructions that required us to switch lanes from 4 to 2.
I was driving when I noticed the signboard saying that 2 lanes will be closed. I started to slow down my car. At the time I was driving at 100 km/h. Then about 100 meter ahead, I saw this KLIA taxi in front of me started to hit the break. So, I pushed my break and I managed to stop about few inches from the taxi. My sister and I were so relieved because we didn't hit the taxi.
So, when I was about to press the pedal, suddenly I heard a crashing sound behind my back, with a slight jerk. I was so shocked and after a split second, another jerk to my car. OMG!!! I was hit by two cars!!! I was terrified, but I pull all of my strength and came out of my car. The car that hit my car was a Myvi and another car that hit that Myvi was a Wira. Gosh, I was so sad to see my car.
(T_T)
Then a PLUS patrol came and asked me to drive to the closed lanes. He then interviewed me, asking me what happen. I just explained to the patrol about the taxi. Then the Myvi and Waja driver came to me and asked me why did I stop the car. I was so baffled to hear their questions. As if they were blaming me for the accident. I just explained to them with my controlled voice so that I will not sound guilty.
Since my car was not that bad, the patrol officer asked me to drive to the Nilai Police Station to file a report. I took the photos, then drove slowly, really slow about 20km/h just to ensure that my car will not fall off on my way to the police station. I was quite lucky that my car didn't need towing. The other cars definitely needed towing.
The Wira
I wasn't really familiar with the town that it took me about 30 minutes to find the station. There, the officer was like **** and asked me to go and photocopy my IC. Come on dude, can't you see that my car is wrecking like hell. I started to get annoyed with the situation. Luckily he wasn't the one who take my report. Thank God.
After I filed my report, then I went back. But I didn't want to use the highway because of the fast cars and lorries, so I just used the town road to my home. Then once again we lost because we missed the junction. It was the worst day that I've had so far this year. Finally I arrived home at 8 pm.
When we arrived, I told my dad about the incident. He was calmed when he heard the story. He just asked me why I didn't call him. Well, my phone was barred. Yes! On the same day.
The moral of the story, if you had an accident, don't panic. Keep calm and Insya Allah everything will run smoothly. The most important thing is to call your parents, husband, wife etc. I was lucky because my car didn't need to tow.
Till I write again!
Stay Fabulous
