My (Un)Fortunate Sunday - Part 2

Salam love,

Okay I've been busy with my class, assignments and work to do so I didn't have much time to write. Hehehe... BTW, as I promised last time, here is the second part of my (un)fortunate Sunday.

Part 2

After we let the car cool down, we continued our journey to Sunway Pyramid. On our way to Sunway, the car was okay. It just started to get slower and took time to speed up. When we arrived, we were looking for the parking space to park. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot since they closed the other lot. Then we decided to find the parking on the upper level. When started to climb slightly upper road, the car suddenly sliding back!!! Luckily my friend managed to pressed the brake. We almost bumped the Myvi behind our car. We were so shocked and panicked. So we decided to continue to find the parking on the lower ground.

We drove about 10 minutes from one lot to another. The car was getting slower and slower. Finally we found a parking space almost at the end of the lot. It was so far that we had to cross the Sunway Hotel too. We were so relieved to find the space. So we started to go shopping, spent our time after all the chaotic moments. I managed to but new perfumes from Victoria's Secret and another perfume too. I didn't but the Colour Festival Blockbuster makeup palette that I wanted. Because I can buy it from Zalora with RM20 off. Hehehe...

After we spend about 4 hours there, we ate at Tony Roma's Restaurant. OMG!!! I really love the beef there. So delicious. Plus I think they have the BEST mashed potatoes ever!!! If you never try the beef or mashed potatoes, I suggest you to try it once. I really recommend it.

Alright, back to my story, while we were enjoying out dinner, my friend asked me about the parking ticket. She gave the ticket to me before we went to the mall. When I searched my bag, I realised that I've lost the parking ticket. OMG! Another problem???? Arghhh!!!! I was so frustrated. This was the first time I'd ever misplaced my parking ticket. So, I just thought that the charge for losing the ticket will be around RM20. When we contacted the one in-charged for this, I had to pay freaking RM50! I started to curse at that time. I was losing my mind for a moment. I just burnt RM50 for my careless mistake. Damn!

So, at 8 pm we started to head back home. Since we parked at the end of the parking lot, there were barely cars left at the lot. When we started the car, the temperature was very low. We were relief. There should be no problem anymore. So when we wanted to go out, we need to go to the upper level. Just we were climbing the road, the car started to slide back like before. And there was another Myvi behind our car. It was like deja voo all over again. The car started to honk so I immediately pushed the hazard light button. Alhamdulillah there was no other car behind us. I told my friend to go around the lot and speed up when we need to go up. And we finally did it!

Another plot twist - we need to climb in order to go out. Damn. Since I had enough with this thing, I decided to push the car. YES! I pushed the car. We were very thankful because there were no cars at all behind us. It was a relieved.

Then we continued our journey. Before we headed South, my friend filled her fuel tank (RM40). It should be enough actually. So on the way home, we were laughing, cursing and continue to laugh when we talked about the incidents. Just when we thought everything was alright, my friend realized that her fuel was running out. The fuel indicator light started to light up. Then we realized the temperature went maximum. Oh, no.... Not again!

At that time, we were about 5 km before our exit toll. She started to switch off the aircond, we drove really slow. Then, we exit the highway. And bam! The were long lines before the toll. Gosh. The car started to shake really bad. I suggested my friend to call her parents because it was impossible for us to reach our destination with no fuel.

Just after we passed the toll, we parked our car near the Plus office. We waited for her parents to come. Ahamdulillah, it was Sunday. So there were a lot of cars on the road. When her parents arrived (about 20 minutes after we parked), he checked the car. Tadaaa.... the engine already ruined, the oil (minyak hitam - I don't know the name) was drained due to overheat. One of the guys (they suddenly came when my friend's father started to check the engine) said that we were lucky the car weren't on fire because of overheat.

Since there was nothing I can do, I called my dad and asked him to pick me. It was my unforgettable day ever.

After the incidents, there are a lot of things that I have learnt.

  1. Don't continue to drive after you see smoke coming out of your front car.
  2. Don't fill the water tank within the 3 hours after you see the smoke.
  3. Don't continue to drive. Let your car cool down for at least 3 hours.
  4. Always check the water tank' lid.
  5. Don't carry your parking ticket when shopping. Either you leave it in your car or put it inside your purse/wallet.
  6. Get help when you notice something suspicious happen to your car.

Anyway, I was so relief that both of us were safe. It was quite traumatizing but I hope it will never stop us from having fun later. Hehehe... Here's a special picture for all of you.

(no fuel and the highest temperature ever)

My (Un)Fortunate Sunday - Part 1

Salam love,

I want to tell you guys a story about my friend and I (un)fortunate Sunday. This was the most valuable experience that I've ever learn this year but in the hard way. The story was so long that I have to make it into two parts. So, this is the first part.

Part 1

Last Sunday, my friend and I went for weekend shopping. Initially, we planned to go to Paradigm Mall because I wanted to buy this makeup palette from Sephora (Colour Festival Blockbuster). I saw it from instagram and I really want to buy it. So when my friend asked me to hang out, I immediately agreed. My friend picked me up at home. Before we went to Paradigm Mall, she wanted to go to this nasi kukus restaurant in Shah Alam.

On the way to Shah Alam, there was nothing suspicious happened. Then, when we reached Seksyen 7, I noticed that was smoke coming out of my friend's car. At first I thought because it was raining and the smoke was just vapour. Then her aircond started to get warmer (I also thought she just lowered the temperature due to rain). I just ignore those OBVIOUS signs.

Right after we reached the nasi kukus restaurant, while we were looking for parking, her car suddenly stopped. Yes, just stop in the MIDDLE of the road. We started to panic. Luckily there was no car behind us. She tried to start the engine but nothing happened. We tried to open the front hood but it didn't work (to be honest, neither of us had ever open the front hood before). We tried to calm ourselves since we were adult. Then we got back to the car and tried to start the engine. Alhamdulillah, it worked. We parked the car then we went straight to the restaurant. I noticed that the car's temperature level pointed to the highest level.

We thought that maybe the water tank (I don't know the exact term) may be leaking. So, we went straight to the restaurant to eat and at the same time to let the car cool down. This was the first time ever I tried nasi kukus in my life. Actually, I don't understand the fascination of nasi kukus. To me, it just rice cooked with different method (steam instead of boil it). Nothing else.

After we finished our meal, about 45 minutes later, we went back to the car. The car started normally and we noticed that the temperature had went down. So, we decided to continue our journey. Instead of going to Paradigm Mall, we decided to go to Sunway Pyramid. Unfortunately, the car was not really in the good condition. It was not moving fast even though my friend had push the pedal hard. It moved really slow like 30 km per hour.

Both of us felt uneasy so we decided to go to the nearest petrol station to ask someone to check the engine. When we arrived at Shell, my friend asked the worker to open the front hood. To our surprise, there was NO cover on the water tank. I saw the cover on the car battery. We were utterly shocked. No wonder the temperature went like crazy!!! Then my friend told me that her father checked her car before she went out. Maybe he forgot to put the cover back.

Because we both didn't know much about car, we asked the worker to fill the tank with water immediately. Well, it was another mistake. Right after he poured some water into the tank, the steam went out like crazy. He poured more water until the tank was full. Then she started her car. We saw smoke still coming out of the car so we changed our plan. We let the car to cool down and we went to the nearest McDonald to rest.

We waited for half an hour before we head back to the car. When my friend started her car, there was no smoke or steam coming out of the car. We checked the temperature and it wasn't that high. So thought the car was good already. But we could never been wrong....

To be continued...

El Fresco Beef Lasagne

Salam love,

Today, after I finished my Research Methodology 1 class, I went straight to Bangi Gateway to window shop *cough**wink*. I really like Bangi Gateway because it has a lot of popular boutiques like Tudung People, Qaira Hijab and more (I can't remember). But the best boutique ever is CK Rahim. OMG... you can find many types of hijabs, patterns, shapes, sizes and colours for cheap prices. Yes I like other boutiques too but if you really wanna save more, you can go to CK Rahim. The quality is good too.

Sorry, back to the main topic. So, after I've done my window shopping *again coughing*, I went to eat at El Fresco. I've never tried any of the food before. Since I love lasagne, I ordered their beef lasagne.

Well if you look at the photo above, you might not think it's good. Surprisingly, the lasagne was good. I like it. The beef was cooked well, the sauce tasted nice (not too sour) and the pasta was soft too. The price was not bad too. If you like pasta, then you can try this El Fresco Beef Lasagne at Bangi Gateway.

PS ~ I just took I photo before I ate. I was hungry. Hehehe...

When You Have Resting Bitch face

Salam love,

Have u ever face with this problem in your life? When people tend to assume that you're in a bad mood even though you are gloating inside. Nope???

Well, apparently I've been facing with this issue since I was in the secondary school. Most of the situations in the video happened to me (except for the picture time - I love to smile widely because I have nice teeth :p). Due to my unique set of eyes (too small for a Malay girl lady), people tend to think that I'm sort of angry all the time. When I was in the boarding school, most of my seniors didn't like me because they claimed that I like to ogle (really???). It kinda irritated me.

So, after I watched the video, possibly that other people also face the same issue as mine. Even Anna Paquin faces with this similar issue too.

Fuhhh... That means I have absolutely nothing to be sad about. The thing about having the resting bitch face (I love the term - heeee...) is it has many pros and cons.

PROs

~ People are afraid to mess up with me
~ People rarely disturb me (fuhhh)
~ Kind of Poker face, and...
~FIERCE Babeh!!! holla!

CONs

~ I seem unapproachable (plus I hate to approach other people first)
~ People tend to dislike me (well, before the know me - most of them admitted it)

I hope that by watching this video, people would understand that I'm not angry all the time. I like to laugh, joking around and being silly my friends and family too. It's just I can't help it. So other girls and ladies out there, if you face with this similar situation, just be yourself. Ignore them. Embrace your uniqueness.

(seriously I was like selfie time!!!)                               smile...

Bella Ammara 200K Happy Hour Sale

Hello love,

Yesterday, Bella Ammara (BA) boutique made a special happy hour sale in conjunction of reaching 200K followers. The sale was as an appreciation sale for the followers who had been supporting BA since the beginning. The happy hour was from 12 to 3 pm.

I was so excited to buy new jubah(s) from Bella Ammara. Unlike other jubah(s) sold in the department stores, BA jubah(s) are made from high quality materials (satin fabric) and most importantly the jubah(s) don't stick to the body (like other jubah(s) made from lycra). It also has different vibrant colours and unique embellishments. Well, this was not my first time buying jubah from BA. I bought a jubah (Tiara Jubah) before this year's Eid via Fashion Valet.

As I mentioned before, the sale was supposed to start at 12 pm. But, since I was so eager to shop, I already on my laptop and had opened the website before 12 pm. Unfortunately, the website was still under maintenance. :(

So, right after the clock struck 12.02 pm (well just to let the website to 'get ready'), I immediately opened the website and registered as a member. Hehehe...

And then the shopping began. I was astounded to see the prices. 20% off babeh!

To be honest this wasn't my smoothest online shopping experience ever. Even though I was among the first to shop, it took me about an hour in order for me to complete my shopping - from registering to complete my order. It wasn't because I viewed every jubah in details. It was because the server was too slow! I think maybe because most of the followers opened the website at the same time. I had to view all the jubah(s) once, [loading], choose the size, [loading], proceed to checkout, [extra loading] and finally complete my order [still loading about 10 more minutes].

Due to the jam (yes, server jam), BA had to extend the sale from 12 pm to 12 am. Alhamdulillah, although it took me about an hour to complete my order, I managed to grab 3 different jubah(s) yesterday. I will update later once I receive the jubah(s)

Well I hope that BA will improve their online service (website) and organize more sales in the future.

Stay tuned for my update later!

Hanis

I'm Back!!!!

Salam love,

After a long of silence (from the blogging world) due to certain personal problems, now I'm back. Now I will start over with fresh topics, stories and fashion tips *yeay*.

I will definitely not going to delete all of my previous posts (some yes, but not all), because those posts will be the reminder not to join any MLM businesses anymore. I've had enough. I've wasted thousands ringgit and what I got in return, nothing! If you wanna know more, feel free to comment or email me. :)

Anyway, I've spent a few weeks to change my blog style from boring to more fun. I really love my blog now. Although it's still not finish, I just can't wait to write my new post. Hehehe... So stay tuned for my next posts.

Lastly, if you have anything to ask or share, feel free to contact me.

New Year's Resolutions

Salam and 안녕

Every year, it's like a tradition to ALL to have New Year's Resolutions.
Well some of the resolutions are the recycle one from the previous years. Hahaha...
I know it's so cliché for me to have New Year's resolutions but why not???
At least we plan something good for ourselves. Hehehe...

OK, here are my 2014 resolutions.
I really hope that I can accomplish all of them this year.

1. Lose my weight.

This is my main resolution this year.
Yeah I've been renewing this resolution ever since forever...
Muahaha...
But not this year!
So far up to today, I have been working out for almost 2 weeks.
Alhamdulillah...
I also bought a new shoes for my special resolution.
I really need to lose weight.
Why???
Well for my own health and of course I don't want to be single FOREVER!
But it's for my OWN health actually.
Hihihihi...

My new shoes!!! I love the neon colour.

2. Be a DSM this year.

Alhamdulillah last year I have achieved the SSM level in my business.
Although it might not be much, it really help me to boost my spirit to do more.
And this year I will do better than last year.
My business journey will continue for the rest of my life.
Hihihi...
I also hope that I will get the car fund too this year.
Amin.

 During the SM/SSM award

3. Be a better person

Alright this one is quite general.
Actually I'm not a bad person ;p but of course we want to be better than yesterday.
I don't want to be worse than before...
Hehehe...
I really hope that I can do more good deeds this year.
Help my family, friends and others in need...
Insya Allah...

4. Get married

Say what???
Hahahaa...
Is this considered as a new year's resolution???
Hahaha...
Well, everyone wants to get married.
I don't know if you don't but I want to...
But marriage is not a small thing...
Of course it looks fancy because of the wedding receptions but it's more than that...
I need to be mentally prepared (and also financially and physically prepared too...)
But, let Allah do HIS work.
All I need to do is pray for it.
Muahaha...

I think that's enough...
There is no point of making or listing sooo many resolutions if I don't make them come true...
Hohoho...
So I hope all of my resolutions come true.
Especially the last one ;p

Lots of LOVE,

Let's Recap 2013

Salam and 안녕

2013 had been a great year to me. I had so many wonderful memories starting from January till December. I hope that this year I will have another great year too.

So, let's recap my wonderful 2013.

1. Hanis Haizi's Chanel Party

It was my second month since I started my business. I was so excited and couldn't wait to be successful just like my leaders.
My most memorable event on January is Hanis Haizi's Chanel Party.
That was the first event organized by Hanis Haizi that I attended.
It was also the first time ever I met Hanis Haizi in person. She is such a nice and beautiful person.
There were a lot of memories that my business partner, Intan and I share before we attend this event.
But overall it was a great memory and I will cherish it forever.

 Please excuse my outfit...

 The Galaxy Team

2. My first GLAM class

OMG, the first time ever I attended GLAM class, I was so excited.
I really enjoyed it.
What I like about the class is everybody is so excited to learn.
The leaders are not stingy to share their knowledge and experiences.
They willingly organize FREE classes for GLAMpreneurs so that we can achieve more and be successful in this business.
I hope this year I can attend more classes.

3. Wonderful events

Last year I also attended many company's events such as Diamond Night, SM/SSM Award and Majlis Ulang Tahun.
These events are to celebrate successful entrepreneurs in the company.

4.  GLAM events...

I also had the opportunity to attend some of the events organized by GLAM like Iftar Ramadhan and GLAM dinner. These events are important for newbies to getting know with each other so that we can stand strong together.

GLAM Iftar

GLAM Dinner

Overall 2013 had been a blast year to me and I really love it. I hope that this year, 2014 I will have another blast year too. I wish all of you the same.
